Youth Encouragers Network

West Virginia Youth Encouragers Network (WV YEN) is working to promote cooperation among church youth programs so that more of the young people of West Virginia might be influenced to make wise moral choices. Our youth are being bombarded with messages about corrupt behaviors, and the forces in society today are unified in their messages and attempts to draw teens into these destructive activities. Therefore the church must be united in its effort to educate our youth to take a stand for themselves and their future.

There are currently four Youth Encouragers Networks in operation, located in Charleston, Huntington, Fayetteville, and Oak Hill,  WV. These groups of youth pastors have already helped Believe in West Virginia bring the Silver Ring Thing to their cities to teach teens about abstinence. Learn more about the Silver Ring Thing...

Get Involved!

WV YEN is looking to bring more encouraging and inspiring youth events and programs to the area, and to help expand those that may already be in operation. If you know of a program or event that you feel has true potential to be a catalyst among our young people, please let us know by contacting John deBlecourt at john@believeinwv.org.

We would also encourage youth pastors and workers to contact John to learn how you can get your youth and church involved in this effort of unity.
